One of Canada’s most well-known and well-loved yoga instructors, Eoin Finn has been a long-time disciple of Yoga, Philosophy, Martial Arts and Meditation and has been teaching his unique, authentic and transformative style of Yoga and Blissology for over a decade.
Eoin teaches all over the world and shares his passion for living well through yoga. He is a strong advocate of the belief in Yoga, Environmentalism and Social Change and founded the world's first ever Yogathon + Blissfest in 2001 in Vancouver, Canada where the practice of 108 sun salutations in community to raise funds for a worthwhile cause first began.
Fusing his passion for athletics and yoga as an essential cross-training element, Eoin has worked with Olympic athletes around the world, for whom he has created customized, performance enhancing Yoga programmes.
Eoin’s teaching offers a heart-opening, invigorating and experiential practice that is grounded with humor, dynamism and a focus on both physical and energetic alignment. Yoga, when practiced with this holistic awareness becomes fluid therapy, movement guided by the innate knowledge of our anatomy and evolution.
Eoin leads YES (Yoga, Ecology and Surf) Retreats around the world, sharing his deep respect and love for nature and yoga with his students. His writings on Yoga and Happiness were recently included in USA Books Today's "Best Selp Help Book of 2008," the anthology, Peak Vitality, which also contains insights by Deepak Chopra and Eckhardt Tolle. Eoin's best-selling line of vinyasa yoga DVDs are sold on amazon.com, lululemon athletica stores around the world and you can also find him on Body In Balance, Europe’s leading health TV channel.
He is grateful to many teachers for their guidance and perspective including Yoga teachers Gioia Irwin, Joel Kramer, David Williams and Nadia Toraman; Structural Integration Therapists Mark Finch and Tom Myers; and Body Mind Psychotherapist Susan Aposhyan.
