Pilates is based on eight principles: relaxation, alignment, control, precision, routine, breathing, centring, and flowing movement. It is beneficial for general fitness, improvements in health and overall wellbeing. It improves your posture, mobility and flexibility of the spine. It helps facilitate injury prevention and physical rehabilitation as well as better balance and coordination. It expands body awareness and is a great complement to training for athletes.
