Good fit in media merger

Two satellite television stations devoted to health and wellbeing are set to merge. Body in Balance is joining forces with Fitness TV to create what is believed to be Europe's largest broadcaster devoted to the subject. The combined company, to be called Media Health and Fitness, will continue to run both brands and channels. Mark Wood, the former ITN boss who was installed as Body in Balance chairman last autumn, will head the enlarged business.
